ONE God
in a fragmented world searching for identity, the church’s unity and mission begin not with what we do but with who we are in Christ. Rooted in Ephesians 1, we see that God the Father has chosen and adopted us, the Son has redeemed and forgiven us, and the Spirit has sealed and secured us—declaring our true identity before we ever perform or prove anything. Like Jesus at His baptism, we are named “beloved” before we act, and the enemy still attacks identity first, whispering “if you really are…” into our lives. When we rest in the truth that our worth is received, not achieved, secondary labels lose power and unity becomes possible. From this shared identity flows a shared mission: we are not called to reach everyone, but everyone is called to reach someone—living as one church, under one God, moving one step at a time for the sake of the one God puts before us.
