The Courage to Go First

The Jordan doesn't part until the priests carrying the Ark step into the water. This is one of the great leadership moments in Scripture. God doesn't remove the obstacle first. He asks for obedience first.

What a picture of serving.

The nursery isn't full because someone else volunteered.

The guest feels welcomed because someone chose to smile first.

The teenager hears the gospel because someone decided to show up week after week.

Someone has to get their feet wet.
